Ward begins to focus in on officials

Three-star cornerback Cornelius Ward is beginning to think about official visits. The 6-foot-1, 167-pounder is looking at four schools to take officials to and is debating between the fifth one.
"I'm planning to take visits to Miami (Ohio), Marshall, Buffalo and Vanderbilt," he said. "I'm not sure on the other one, but I'm looking at Temple and Akron."

What makes the four schools stand out to Ward?
"Miami (Ohio) has a really good shot for me to start as a true freshman especially since I'm planning to graduate early. I also have the best relationship with the coaches there," he stated. "I have a good shot at starting at Buffalo too and that's a nice bonus there. Marshall is a good school and I like what they have to offer. As for Temple and Vanderbilt, I'm getting a lot of stuff from them and they are keeping in contact."
Currently Miami (Ohio) leads for the No. 15 player in Maryland.
As for a decision, Ward believes it'll be sometime during the season.
