Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith athlete Greg Boone was impressed after talking to new Pittsburgh coach Dave Wannstedt. How impressed was Boone?

"I'm going to try and visit Pittsburgh now," said the 6-foot-3, 258-pounder. "He sounded like he had a good plan, and I would like to check it out and see what my role in it would be. I was interested before when coach (Walt) Harris was there and then I wasn't. Now I'm interested again. I liked what coach Wandstedt had to say."
Boone has already visited Virginia Tech and Maryland. He has visits remaining to West Virginia (Jan. 14) and North Carolina (Jan. 21). Boone wasn't sure when a Pittsburgh visit would happen. He was scheduled to visit Pittsburgh before, but cancelled when Harris left for Stanford.
"Both visits were good," the three-star player said of his two trips so far. "I don't have any school in front. I'll wait until after I take all my visits. I will not make a decision until after all my visits. They are all about the same right now."
Name a position and Boone has been projected to be able to play it at the college level -- from quarterback, tight end, defensive end to linebacker. Boone said he would like a chance at quarterback, but would be willing to move if needed.
