Walter already up to 10 offers

Mason Walter has picked up 10 offers in the last few weeks and even he cannot believe how quickly things have picked up.
The Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral said because things have happened so fast a favorite cannot be picked as he's still trying to figure everything out - and even more teams could get involved soon.

"It's pretty overwhelming," Walter said.
"I wasn't really expecting 10 offers in a couple weeks. I have been getting a lot of mail and I've been talking to a couple coaches but I didn't think it was all going to come within three weeks. I was really excited about it."
So far, Walter has been offered by Boise State, Cal, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Iowa State, Nevada, San Diego State, Utah and Washington State.
The 6-foot-5, 263-pound offensive tackle said USC and Oregon have reached out recently and he's especially getting big attention from the Ducks' coaching staff.
"I talked to Oregon's offensive line coach the other night and he had a lot of interest in me," Walter said. "He said that he's coming out to Temecula in May to meet me. I'm really excited about that."
Walter visited Arizona State on Monday. The Sun Devils have also been highly interested in him and an offer might be close.
Because everything has happened so quickly and unexpectedly, the Temecula Chaparral recruit said he has not narrowed down his list at all or picked out any leaders. That could come later if things slow down heading into his senior season.
"I don't really have a favorite right now," Walter said.
