Walls talks about latest offer

Dawsonville (Ga.) Dawson County defensive tackle Logan Walls recently picked up his second scholarship offer. This one, which comes on the heels of his first offer from Brigham Young, came from an Atlantic Coast Conference program close to his home in the North Georgia Mountains.
Georgia Tech offered the 6-foot-2, 255-pounder.

"I've been a big Georgia Tech fan," Walls said. "I like Georgia Tech pretty good. Academics are going to be my major selling point."
But just because the Yellow Jackets offered and they have proximity advantage, Walls hasn't ruled out heading to Provo, Utah, and the Mountain West Conference to play football and get an education.
"I'm going out to BYU spring break," he said. "Georgia Tech is close, but I got a bunch of friends in Utah going too."
Walls lists Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee in his top five following Tech and the Cougars.
The aggressive defensive tackle had 87 tackles and seven sacks his junior season. He also excels on special teams, blocking four punts.
Walls will attend the Athens NIKE Camp April 29 on the campus of the University of Georgia. He also plans to camp at Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Auburn and Florida this summer.
