Walls stays busy early with recruiting

Gardena (Calif.) Serra is loaded with top-notch prospects and another one coming up through the ranks is 2016 linebacker Blake Walls, who already has one big-time offer.
During the spring evaluations, Florida State offered the 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker who's headed into his sophomore season and he's definitely excited about the Seminoles early on.

Not only has Walls researched the program but he's also looked at videos about the school to see if it would be a good fit for him as his high school career continues.
"It was exciting to get that first offer," Walls said.
"I've been waiting for it and I've been working hard. I've been putting in work trying to get schools to notice me. I was told I had the offer from FSU and I'm pretty excited about it.
"I've been watching videos and all that. I like the school, a lot of people tell me it's a good school and it's nice and quiet out there so I could stay focused on school and sports."
Florida State is the first offer for Walls, expected to be a big contributor on Serra' defense this season, and a lot of interest is also coming in for the rising sophomore.
Tennessee and Michigan are two programs that have continually shown interest through this off-season and the 2016 prospect also said he's starting to receive mail from Nebraska.
Walls said it's far too early to name any favorites since his sophomore year has not even started yet.
