Wallerstein likes his options

Canyon Country (Calif.) Canyon offensive lineman A.J. Wallerstein has four schools on his short list and the schools, although very diverse, do have one major thing in common.
Wallerstein, 6-4, 275 pounds has been one of the state's top lineman the past two seasons. He earned 2nd team all-state underclass honors a year ago and is having another fine season as a senior.

On the recruiting front, Wallerstein said he's mainly focusing on four schools and has already taken one official visit.
"I visited Harvard back in September," Wallerstein said. "I really liked it a lot, Boston is a nice place. It was funny, I was worried about the weather but when I left, it rained in California and was warm the whole time in Boston.
"The weekend I was there, it was the first home game Harvard played under the lights in their stadium. So that was cool to be a part of that. I love the academics at Harvard and I'm definitely going to give them a long look.
"The other schools I like are Yale, Air Force and UC Davis. It's a pretty diverse group but the major thing I'm looking at is academics and all of those schools have very strong academics.
"The chances of me one day playing in the NFL are pretty slim so I'm looking for a school that is going to set me up for life away from football. I want to take visits to each of those schools and then I'll make my decision after my visits are done.
"I plan to major in Science, either Biology or Physics, so that will play a role in my decision as well."
