Wallace set for PSU weekend

Surprisingly the Nittany Lions have landed an official visit for this weekend with Rivals100 cornerback A.J. Wallace. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder was impressed on his visit to Happy Valley for the Ohio State game and wants to make a return visit.
"I like the situation there and they really opened my eyes after taking in that game against the Buckeyes. I want to give them a hard look so I'm taking an official this weekend," he said. "I like the fans there because they are really loyal and they have a great coaching staff and wonderful tradition. They have also mentioned an opportunity to play early on both sides of the ball. I like the idea of having the ball in my hands and that's definitely a good chance for me to play.

"This weekend I hope just to see how they prepare for a bowl game, how the guys are there, who is coming back next year and the depth on the team."
Wallace has already taken three officials to Florida State, Nebraska and Ohio State.
"I still like the opportunities at those schools and I know the coaching staffs are all really interested," he said. "I also like that they are good programs too."
As for a fifth official, that is still up in the air between Southern Cal and Miami probably for December 16th.
"I talked to coach Carroll and he suggested that I could play on offense like Reggie Bush. I also know there is a really good opportunity to play cornerback there on the defense," he said. "I like Miami because they are known for putting people in the league. They are losing three cornerbacks too, so the opportunity is there also."
The No. 52 player in the country still plans to announce his decision at the Army All-American Bowl in January.
This year Wallace recorded 2,090 yards rushing, 247 yards receiving, 30 total touchdowns and three interceptions.
