Wallace revises top three list

Christian Wallace has revised his top three with two schools staying in and a new one joining the fold.
The four-star athlete from Katy (Texas) Tompkins said this past weekend at the IMG 7v7 West Regional that Oklahoma has replaced Mississippi State among his favorites. LSU and Texas remain in the top group.

"My top three right now is Texas, LSU and OU," Wallace said. "Mississippi State, not right now.
"Oklahoma has been showing me a lot of love so they're in the top."
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect who played cornerback, safety and linebacker at the IMG tournament in Redondo Beach, Calif., had impressive things to say about Texas coach Charlie Strong and the rebuilding effort in Austin.
Wallace, rated as the No. 14 athlete and the No. 158 prospect in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, really likes how Strong is handling the Texas program so far.
"I think Charlie Strong is building Texas," Wallace said. "I see them winning a national championship in the next few years. I've been there multiple times.
"The feeling with him is that he's like a father figure. He'll take care of us and grow us into men."
LSU is among the favorites even though the Tigers have not offered yet. Wallace said he's heard good things from the coaching staff, though, and with the defensive back history there he really loves what they're doing in Baton Rouge.
"I like LSU because it's a hyped school," Wallace said. "They're talking about an offer."
