Wallace finds his home

River Ridge (La.) John Curtis three-star outside linebacker Bo Wallace had the Notre Dame Fighting Irish high on his list going into his official visit to South Bend, and by the time he left there was no doubt about where he would play his college football. So Wallace decided he was ready to make his college decision and he did just that on Sunday.
"It was the day I was leaving," Wallace said. "I woke up early and took a shower and went over to meet with coach Kelly. It just he and I and the conversation was about me being ready to commit."

Over the last several months Wallace has gotten to know Notre Dame inside and out. Following his trip he knew it was the right place for several reasons.
"The coaches, the players, the school. It all fits for me," Wallace said. "I don't know I just liked it at first sight."
While Wallace waited until Sunday to commit to coach Kelly, he knew he was ready to commit before ever talking with the Notre Dame head coach. Over the weekend Wallace was hosted by Kolin Hill, and he was able to get to know guys like Torii Hunter and Tarean Folston.
It was after having a few honest conversations Wallace first knew he was ready to make his decision.
"They actually sat down and talked to me like no jokes but straight man-to-man like a brother what are your future goals," Wallace said.
The conversation led him to his decision to call his mom on Sunday morning to inform her of his plans. Then he let the Notre Dame coaches know he was ready to join Notre Dame's 2015 recruiting class.
Wallace chose Notre Dame over Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, UCLA, Minnesota, and several other college options, and he is not looking back.
"I'm done," Wallace said.
Wallace is currently ranked No. 27 among the nation's 2015 outside linebackers and No. 20 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 50. He is Notre Dame's 19th commitment of the 2015 recruiting class.
