Walker takes Alabama unofficial

The No. 53 player in the country, Olive Branch, Miss. athlete Allen Walker took an unofficial visit last weekend to Alabama for the LSU game with teammate Anthony Summers. What did the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder think of his trip to Tuscaloosa?
"He told me this week that he has never been in a louder place," Olive Branch head coach Jamie Mitchell said. "He was amazed at the noise level and the crowd there. It was an electric environment and he really enjoyed himself."

Mitchell still believes that Walker favors LSU and Florida though.
Has the No. 5 athlete in the country begun to consider official visits?
"He's starting to set dates and very close to narrowing it down," he said. "I know he's been talking about a few different dates to Ole Miss, LSU and Florida. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Alabama too. That leaves one other one between Nebraska, Tennessee and Auburn."
This season Walker has played very well for the Conquistadors.
"He's doing a super job defensively for us and I think he's our No. 2 leading tackler," Mitchell said. "That's pretty good for a guy that we moved to inside linebacker halfway through the season. He's been a very steady player for us throughout the year and I can tell he's getting bigger, stronger and more physical."
Last Friday the Rivals100 athlete helped lead Olive Branch to a 35-14 win over Tupelo with a 98-yard touchdown reception.
