Walker pleased with experience in Texas

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville Academic Campus junior offensive lineman Aundrey Walker made the trip to campus for the big All-American combine and he returned home just recently.
Though it's too early to tell just how much the 6-foot-5, 335-pound tackle helped his stock, Walker feels good about the trip.

"It went good," Walker said on Wednesday afternoon. "I was one of the most impressive guys down there. I also went last year as a sophomore and was named one of the most impressive underclassmen. It was a fun experience.
"We actually got there too late for me to bench (press), and I couldn't run the forty because my thighs were killing me.
"When I was down there this one dude in particular said he knew a coach from Oklahoma -- I think maybe the defensive line coach. He called him and gave him my information. Then he gave me his number and told me to call him sometime. The problem is, I didn't save it so there's no way for me to get in touch with him."
Walker holds offers from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State and West Virginia, and said he is hearing from other schools in the Big Ten and the SEC. He said he is unsure whether any other schools are getting close to extending offers.
"Illinois told me they want me to come down for a junior day, but I don't know if that has anything to do with a camp or working out," he said. "Other than that I don't know what I might be doing.
"At this point I don't have any favorites. I'm interested in any school that's interested in me."
