Walker one of Ohios best WR

Akron (Ohio) Coventry receiver Jeff Walker is one of the most impressive looking receivers in Ohio.
The 6-foot-5, 197-pounder hauled in 35 passes for more than 500 yards and three touchdowns as a wide receiver. He recorded 106.5 tackles, five interceptions, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries at his free safety position.

Numbers like that helped him earn an early offer from Bowling Green. Now the question is what other teams will join them.
"West Virginia, Illinois and Pitt and a few other schools are waiting on my report card," Walker said. "And that is going to be fine. My grades are way up from what they were at.
"I've also heard from Kansas, Louisville, Syracuse, and I have talked to Ohio State but they are worried about my grades. All the MAC schools are probably going to offer me when my report card comes out."
Walker plans on hitting a few camps this summer.
"I am going to West Virginia, Illinois, Cincinnati, Indiana and Michigan State since they are close," he said. "The top three schools I am going to visit are West Virginia, Illinois and Cincinnati."
Walker also plans on working on his game this summer.
"I probably need to work on getting my speed up," he said. "I am working with my strength coach. I need to get my speed up, but also work on my route running."
