Walker not rushing into a choice

Waco, Texas cornerback Marcus Walker continues to receive more attention from schools, but he won’t rush into a decision.

“It was a hectic month of May,” the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Walker said. “We had a lot of calls at our house. Nothing bad or anything, just kind of busy.”
Walker could have his summer filled with football camps if he chose to, but he isn’t sure what all he will attend.
“I’m still thinking about what ones to go to. I’m probably going to Texas A&M’s for sure. I think I’ll get to Texas’ camp as well.”
Walker’s list of schools pursuing him is a list of who’s who among college football teams. But, he insists he is open to the recruiting process still.
“I am not saying anyone is a leader. I want to keep my options open until I can get the schools looked at a little closer. I would probably say the three schools near the top are Texas, Oklahoma and Florida State. But, it is early.”
