Walker has an idea

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood four-star defensive lineman Demarcus Walker attended Friday Night Lights at Florida on Friday evening. While he didn't participate on the field, he did spend a great deal of time with the coaches and commitments to Florida. He talked afterwards about what he likes about the Gators.
"It is close to home," Walker said. "I can trust those guys."

Throughout the recruiting process, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman has said his commitment would in large part come down to his relationship and trust in coaches. With regards to Florida, he has developed a good relationship with Will Muschamp.
"When it comes to him, he don't really talk about football," Walker said. "He talks about life after football. He started bringing up academics. Gators take care of Gators after football getting a job. I like that, and that brings a super positive."
A decision was originally planned for next week, but Walker has once again delayed his decision. According to the Rivals250 prospect, the delay is not his fault this time.
"It was going to be August 3rd but this time I didn't push it back, it was ESPN," Walker said. "I have to go by the TV schedule, so I think their first show is not until the 24th."
With a planned announcement on television, Walker says that the selection will come from five finalists.
"It is Tennessee, Clemson, Florida, Alabama, and Auburn," Walker said.
Walker is confident he already knows which school he will select.
"I got my idea," Walker said.
The Sunshine State defender has previously visited all five of his finalists.
