Walder recaps game visits

Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) three-star 2016 linebacker Roland Walder has attended games this season at two of the five schools that have offered him.
The 6-foot-3, 219-pound Walder made his first game visit of the season to see Kentucky in the Wildcat's home opener against Tennessee-Martin.

"I really did (like) the coaches, the atmosphere and the players," Walder said. "They run a 4-3 and I am used to that, so I really liked that."
Three weeks later Walder took in a game at Pittsburgh. The Panthers offered him over the summer, but his game visit the weekend of Sept. 20 was his first time on their campus.
"I didn't really get to see anything because I arrived late, so I just got to watch the game," Walder said. "They run a 4-3 as well and they have two of our guys from Trotwood there. I loved watching the game, but I'll have to take a trip back up there and take a tour of the campus."
Ohio State, Purdue and Cincinnati have yet to offer Walder a scholarship, but he has been hearing from each of them more consistently and is looking to make game visits to Cincinnati and Ohio State this season.
Trotwood-Madison is off to a 5-1 start in the 2014 season. Walder has accumulated 40 tackles, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in those six games.
