"The ones from Maryland and Rutgers do," he stated. "I grew up watching them and like their programs."
A few other schools are starting to show interest including Michigan, Penn State and Connecticut.
Are there any leaders for the Garden State prospect at this time?
"Virginia is sticking out," he said. "I've been up there before and like their football team, the school and the coaches. I also like my recruiter, coach Diaco. He's a pretty good guy. I'm looking at taking more trips there.
"There are other schools up there with them though like Maryland and Wisconsin. They both are in good conferences and produce solid players."
With a clear favorite, is Walcott looking at making an early decision?
"Not at all, I'm planning to take all of my officials."
Walcott will take visits this summer, but has nothing scheduled at this time.
