Everyone thought that Atlanta (Ga.) Marist fullback/linebacker Pierre Easley was sure to commit to Georgia when the Bulldogs offered. Everyone was wrong.
"I committed to Wake Forest today," said the 6-foot-1, 235-pounder. "I just got back."

Why Wake Forest over offers from Georgia, NC State, Boston College and others?
"It's a small school with about 4000 students, the academics are great and the football program is coming up," he said. "It had everything i was looking for and it is also close to home."
Easley will play inside linebacker at Wake.
