Wake Forest offer interests 2018 3-star WR Christian Ford

The Latest: Christian Ford spent the fall making plays for one of the best teams in the state of Georgia and now college coaches are taking notice. After adding offers from Virginia Tech and Ball State in recent weeks, Ford picked up an offer from Wake Forest on Tuesday. With several ties already to the Demon Deacons, the offer clearly caught his attention. Rivals.com caught up with him to get his thoughts.

In His Words: "They're an ACC team and it means a lot to me because it's an ACC offer and it gives me another option to pursue my dream of playing college football. I know a former player Herman Lewis and a recent commit Ty Hardimon so it's nice to have that connection and know guys going in. It will make me look at them harder because me and Ty are like brothers and that would make practices fun and just give me a sense of comfort going to school with someone I already have a relationship with."

Rivals Reaction: Ford is likely to keep picking up offers at the offseason rolls along so Wake Forest is smart to jump in early with an offer. The shifty wide receiver is an offensive weapon who can do more than just catch the ball out of the slot, something that would be valuable in any offense.
