Wagner wants the bigger catch

The smaller offers have come, but all-purpose back Ray Wagner of Kansas City (Mo.) Park Hill is looking for a big fish.
Several Division II schools have sent offers out but Wanger is also hearing from the likes of Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, and other Division I colleges throughout the region. The 5-foot-7, 153-pound running back wants to prove to everyone this season what he can do.

"I've had some rough things to go through with an injury last fall and I think that really didn't help matters," Wagner said. "This year I'm going to go out and prove to everyone what I can do out there."
"It's getting better – football season is coming."
One D-1 school in particular that Wagner seems to really be favoring is Iowa.
"It's close to home, my family could come see me play, and that's a good school," Wagner said. "We'll just have to see what happens with them."
The things Wagner is looking for include not only good athletics but quality academics as well.
"The schools I look at have to have a good business program as a major," Wagner said. "That's what I want to focus on for school. It would be nice if it was close so my family could come see me play."
