Wade is taking it easy

Washington (D.C.) McKinley Tech defensive tackle Josh Wade claims over a half dozen scholarships. However, the 6-foot-2, 250-pounder is taking it easy on the recruiting trail at this time as he focuses on his senior season.
"The season is going good," he said. "We're 1-1. I like my team; we've got a great group of guys and a great coaching staff.

"I think I'm playing pretty well with the scheme. I'm doing whatever the coaches need me to. I'm working on mastering all the positions on the defensive line."
Meanwhile, what's going on with Wade's recruitment?
"I'm keeping in contact with schools," he said. "I'm focused on my high school team, I think we can do big things. I plan to make my decision towards the end of my senior season."
Is Wade focused on anyone?
"I haven't narrowed it down so far," he said. "There are some schools I'm looking at like Ohio, Marshall, Illinois and Buffalo. They've kept in contact with me and they are showing an interest in me throughout the process."
However, Wade has no plans for visits in the near future.
