VTO Elite 100 Atlanta: What to watch for

The VTO Sports Elite 100 2014 kicks off in Atlanta at Lovejoy High School on
Saturday. is the exclusive VTO Sports partner for the
event that will feature some of the biggest sleepers in the state of Georgia for
the 2015 recruiting class as well as 2016 and 2017 targets. The Atlanta camp
will feature 138 players mostly from metro area schools who were
at the VTO Combines in Atlanta in January and February.
Headlining the event is Stockbridge defensive end Titus Davis. Davis has offers
from Georgia Tech, Missouri, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech. The talented defender's
recruitment has picked up considerably in the last month and he is one of the
top players in the Peach State for 2015.
Several other targets on the defensive side of the ball who could end up with
FBS offers include linebacker Theodore Eboigbe (Arabia Mountain), cornerback
Javion Lawson (Pebblebrook) and Jordan Dixon from Dacula. Lawson won the VTO Sleeper
Award in 2013 at the Elite 100 camp.
On the offensive side of the ball, Landmark Christian tight end
Sam Dobbs has an
impressive frame and tremendous ball skills for a 6-foot-5 skill player. He
is still underweight for his size at 205 pounds, but he should fill out on the
next level. Dobbs' recruitment should blowup during the spring evaluation period
when coaches have a chance to see him in person.
Other key offensive targets include quarterback Thad Bell (Duluth), running back
Hasaan Enis (Druid Hills School) and massive offensive guard Henry Wright (South
The VTO Sports Elite 100 will also feature several top 2016 players from Georgia
including defensive tackle Timothy Coleman (Arabia Mountain), offensive guard
Matthew Castner (Blessed Trinity), defensive end
Tykee Atkins (Etowah),
linebacker Cyrus Addison (Northwest Whitfield) and offensive tackle
Austin Hester (Shaw).
The top underclassmen performer from the VTO Elite 100 will earn an invite to
the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge this summer.
