The VTO Elite 100 Camp series continues it's march across the country with a

stop at DeSoto High School just south of Dallas on Sunday.
There will be an assortment of high school players from across the region --
Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas and Mississippi -- on hand for the
event with the goal of increasing their skillset for the upcoming season by
going up against some of the best prospects in the Midlands and Southeast
regions.
The offensive side of the ball will be well represented as well over half of the
attendees will work out from that side of the ball. Players to keep an eye on
from this group include Midwest City (Okla.) receiver
Demeco Wright,
Wichita Falls (Texas) Hirschi running back Cedric Battle, Edmond
(Okla.) Santa Fe running back Darran Williams, Arlington (Texas) Juan
Seguin running back Darrian Hammonds and McKinney (Texas) Boyd
quarterback Seth Washington.
While there won't be an even, 50-50 split between offense and defense, there
will still several defensive prospects to watch for on Sunday: Fort Worth
(Texas) North Crowley defensive lineman Robert Brown, Dallas (Texas)
Prime Prep cornerback Jackie Clayton, Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur
cornerback Walter Neil and Bethany (Okla.) Putnam City West cornerback
Jordan Eubanks.
The camp, which is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. will have a solid group of
underclassmen looking to not only improve their abilities on the field but
hopefully put their name on the recruiting radar as well. About a third of the
attendees will be from the 2016 graduating class and there will even be a couple
of 2017 players out as well.
There will also be a handful of players from very small, private institutions
and some that are home schooled. That group includes Red Oak (Texas) Life School
cornerback Preston Grase, Washington (Okla.) Community Christian School running
back Michael McClung, Yukon (Okla.) home school running back Cameron Branch and
Carrolton (Texas) home school quarterback John Mark Lamb. Players like thus are
always looking to improve against a higher caliber of competition and get
noticed.
