VTO Atlanta: What to watch for
The VTO Elite 100 Camp Series returns to Atlanta at Lakewood Stadium on Friday night. After a successful camp in March, a different group of young prospects will compete with the hopes of landing a spot in the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge in Jacksonville that takes place on July 12 at EverBank Field.
On the offensive side of the ball, a player to watch is Kelton Whitehead from Raleigh, N.C. Whitehead ran for 1,022 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior for Wakefield High School. He will travel over six hours to Atlanta to compete, making him the most well-traveled player in attendance.

Two prospects to watch are Lithonia (Ga.) Arabia Mountain offensive lineman Timothy Coleman and Phenix City (Ala.) Centeral outside linebacker Jamal Couch. One of the few 2015 targets that will showcase is Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview offensive lineman Jake Cooper. Cooper has heavy interest from Penn State and Duke.
Another skill player to keep an eye out for is lanky 2016 Woodstock (Ga.) Sequoyah wideout Derrion Rakestraw. The 6-foot-2, 160-pound receiver has tremendous upside given his impressive frame.
Defensively, Grayson, Ga., nose tackle Chris Martin has a tremendous motor and is very productive. The Rams have a storied history of sending interior linemen to FBS schools, even those who are undersized like Martin at 6-1, 250 pounds.
A.J. Sweat from Archer, Ga., will be the pass-rusher to keep an eye on. He can be a 3-4 outside linebacker or a weakside defensive end in an even front scheme.
The VTO staff will name eight total MVPs from the camp, one at each position. Three players will be invited to a Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour event, while one top underclassman will earn an invitation to the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge.
