VTech, Maryland offer DT

Daryl Robertson is easily one of the top linemen coming out of the Commonwealth in 2006. The 6-foot-3, 288-pounder out of Bedford (Va.) Liberty still holds two early offers from Maryland and Virginia Tech.
The quick lineman with a 5.1-second 40-yard-dash time recently took in junior days at Virginia and Maryland, so how did they go?

"I liked the campuses at both," he said. "The coaches there are real friendly and it's close to home."
This season Robertson helped Liberty to a 10-1 record as they reached the playoffs. He went on to record 75 tackles on the season and was named first team all-region on offense and second team all-region on defense.
Besides holding two offers, Robertson has also been hearing a lot more from Michigan and Tennessee.
"I'm just wide open to everybody right now," he said. "I'm still taking it all in."
Robertson is planning to attend the Nike Combine at Virginia Tech in April, and is looking into the Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers in May.
