VT felt like home for Reavis

C.J. Reavis visited Virginia Tech again this past weekend for the annual rivalry game against Virginia and, even though this was not the first time he has been there, the safety from Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale still found everything enjoyable.
"It was great, I had fun," said the 6-foot, 191-pound Reavis. "I've been there a few times. Like always, it felt like home. I already know most of the players. I talked to (Head) Coach Frank Beamer again and (Secondary) Coach (Torrain) Gray."

The junior four-star has offers from Maryland, Boston College, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia and N.C. State. Where do the Hokies and Cavaliers stand with Reavis after seeing both teams in person?
"Virginia Tech is about the same as the other schools right now. Virginia is the same also," he explained. "They played a good game but couldn't get it done in the end."
Now that Tom O'Brien is not the head coach at N.C. State, what does Reavis think of the Wolfpack now?
"I haven't been talking to them a lot since they offered me so Coach O'Brien leaving doesn't really matter to me."
Maryland's move to the Big Ten has a lot of people talking. What does Reavis think about it?
"Obviously, it's a big move," he said. "I don't know too much right now but I'll try to see what going on when I take my visit there."
Reavis does not have any more visits planned.
