Vols, Tar Heels impress Chalmers

Class of 2015 Greenwood (S.C.) cornerback Kaleb Chalmers already has a pretty impressive offer list and it's only likely to grow going forward. But for now a handful of schools are coming the hardest.
"Coming on the strongest right now is probably North Carolina, Clemson, Duke and Tennessee," Chalmers said. "I've visited them all and seen what they had to offer. I've also been to Georgia and Auburn."

Chalmers said his trip to Knoxville was among his favorites.
"I just like the environment, the school and everything it has to offer," he said. "It's a nice school and they said I can come in and compete for playing time early if I'm ready to work."
Another trip that was high on Chalmers list was a visit to North Carolina, where he got an up close and personal view of the what the Tar Heels have to offer.
"I like everything about it," Chalmers said. "A really nice campus, a nice environment and plenty to offer."
With some of the schools on his list far from home, Chalmers said distance isn't an issue for him or his family.
"They just want the best thing for me no matter where it is," he said.
