Vols lead for Rivals250 WR

Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson wide receiver Andrey Baskin previously announced he was down to four schools that included North Carolina State, Tennessee, Syracuse and Ohio State. The 6-foot-4, 192-pounder still holds Tennessee as his leader as visits with both the Wolfpack and Volunteers quickly approach.
"I know I'm going to North Carolina State on September 9th and then Tennessee is a little later," he said. "I want to see how NC State runs their program there. I also want to see how the coaches are and how the academic program is to see if I can fit in.

"I'm favoring Tennessee a lot now. I know a little bit about the program and they have a nice player-coach relationship. They also like big wide receivers like myself and throw the ball a lot. Every year they recruit nice quarterbacks and I just want to get there and see what's going on with them more."
Either way, Baskin confirmed he will wait out making a decision until after he visits all four of his favorites.
"I'm not sure about when the other schools will get visits yet."
The Rivals250 prospect kicks off his season on September 9th.
"We had a scrimmage last Friday and I did well," he said. "I had five catches and one touchdown. I feel I improved a lot over the summer and got stronger and faster. This is my first season playing defense and I did really well in that too. I'm looking to get more than eight touchdowns on offense and more than four interceptions on defense.
"Our team is looking really good and excellent on defense. We've got a little work to do on offense, but we're a strong team and can accomplish a lot."
The four-star receiver was named all-conference last season after catching 31 receptions and eight touchdowns.
