Vols land solid TE
Tennessee has picked up at least one verbal commitment this weekend. College of the Canyon tight end Leon Pinky as committed to Tennessee and will sign scholarship papers on Wednesday.
Pinky will enroll at Tennessee in January.

“It is safe to say I verbally committed to Tennessee,” said Pinky. “I will finalize everything when I sign on Wednesday.”
Pinky’s trip to Knoxville was not the greatest. It was the first time he had flown in seven years and Pinky said he has battled jet lag all weekend. However, he did like what he saw.
“The atmosphere is great and so are the coaches,” Pinky offered. “In Knoxville, it is football first which is different than the west coast. The players there open up to you quick and the coaches are honest with you.”
Pinky was at one time committed to San Diego State, but starting looking elsewhere after the Aztecs made a coaching change.
