Vols have edge for NJ ATH

Four-star athlete Tony Logan out of Piscataway, N.J. has narrowed his list to five schools. Who is the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder down to?
"I'd say I'm down to Connecticut, Maryland, Purdue, Rutgers and Tennessee," he said. "Those five schools have been interested in me the most from the beginning and I'd say more than likely I'll end up at one of those schools. I plan on taking official visits to all five of those schools. I'm trying to work on one to Tennessee for the LSU game and then one for Maryland too."

Tennessee appears to be the one school standing out for the Rivals250 prospect.
"If anyone is leading it'd be them although I believe they are all at the same level," he said. "The thing I like about Tennessee though is that I've grown to like their team and I've been watching them for years since Peyton Manning was there. The other thing I like is that they want me at defensive back and I really like how they play them there."
Though he's narrowed his list, the No. 24 athlete in the country isn't close to a decision.
"I have no timetable for a decision," he said. "I basically want to take my visits and see what I like and then once I know I'll decide."
Logan earned all-area and honorable mention all-county honors last season.
