Vols, Gators new to Umehs list

Klein (Texas) Forest defensive end McCollins Umeh has narrowed his focus down to six schools at this time.
"I really am looking hard at six schools," the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Umeh said. "Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Colorado from the Big 12 Conference. And Florida and Tennessee from the SEC."

The two new schools to the list are from a different conference than the one Umeh has had his eyes on.
"I still like what the Big 12 has to offer," he said. "But to have schools like Florida and Tennessee wanting me to play for them, that is very nice."
Texas and Tennessee are the two schools that have not offered scholarships to date for the four-star rated end.
"They haven't yet. But, I think Tennessee will before too long. Texas has been there all along, but no offer yet from them. The others have offered quite a while ago."
Umeh still has yet to schedule any official visits.
"I don't have any set up, yet. I'm probably looking at those coming after the season."
Umeh has performed well this season.
"I don't know my stats," he said. "But, I've been involved in a lot of tackles and I'm right there. The coaches know I can make plays and that is what matters."
