Voeller talks two latest offers

Evan Voeller has proven to be one of the top offensive tackles in the West and offers continue to pour in for the West Linn, Ore., standout.
Cal and Nebraska are the two latest offers for Voeller and the 6-foot-4, 285-pound four-star prospect said he's highly interested in both programs.

"I was talking to Cal for a while," Voeller said. "They finally told me I had the offer so that was nice. I like Cal a lot. I like the offensive line coach and they just got a new facility so that was pretty nice.
"I've been getting some stuff from Nebraska in the mail. I was hoping to hear from them because that is a good school. My coach told me to call them so I did and got the offer."
Voeller, rated as the No. 16 offensive tackle and No. 145 prospect in the 2013 class by Rivals.com, recently took unofficial visits to Cal and Stanford. The Cardinal have already offered and Voeller said he was especially impressed with their campus.
"Stanford was nice," Voeller said. "We went to their junior day. We got to meet the coaches and I like them and the campus was nice, too."
This weekend Voeller is heading to UCLA and he's looking forward to meeting the new coaching staff and seeing all the Bruins have to offer.
Other than his visit to UCLA, Voeller said his recruitment has remained steady other than some new interest from Notre Dame.
In total, Voeller has offers from Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Nebraska, Oregon, Purdue, Stanford, Texas A&M, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
The four-star said it's still too early to name leaders but Voeller is hoping to make his decision prior to his senior season.
"I've wanted to commit before my senior season," Voeller said. "I don't want to worry about it during my senior season but if I'm not ready for that I can definitely wait and take some official visits."
