Visits upcoming for Ruff

Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit three-star offensive guard Cameron Ruff reports offers Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Furman, Iowa State, Massachussets, Purdue, Samford, and Western Kentucky. A pair of those schools have grabbed his attention with their personal touch.
"The schools that stand out right now are Purdue and Iowa State," Ruff said. "They are sending me a lot of hand-written letters. They aren't just sending me letters that every kid would get. It isn't something that they can just print out and send to multiple kids, it is actually something that the coach took time to write out."

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound interior offensive lineman is planning to hit the road starting on April 10th to check out a number of schools.
"I have not visited any schools yet, but during my spring break I will be," Ruff said. "I am going to see Samford and Furman. I also plan to see Duke, North Carolina State, and Clemson during my spring break."
Ruff mentioned plans to visit Florida, Florida State, and Georgia in the near future as well. He also said that he intends to attend a few camps during the summer months.
He knows what he is looking for off the field when he visits different colleges.
"At this point I am really looking for a good academic base, somewhere that I can go that will go well with what career I want to major in," Ruff said. "It is either going to be going into law or engineering."
At this stage, Ruff says he isn't working with a decision timeline.
