Visits remain for USF commit

Tallahassee (Fla.) Chiles wide receiver Daniel Bryant has two official visits scheduled for the next two weeks despite his verbal commitment to South Florida. However, don't take that to mean that he's not solid in his pledge. In fact, the 6-foot-2 standout can't stop talking about the Bulls.
This weekend Bryant is scheduled to visit Southern Miss and he will take in Rutgers the following weekend. With that in mind, is he still excited about his USF commitment?

"Oh yes sir, I'm very excited about South Florida," Bryant said. "Southern Miss and Rutgers are still recruiting me. I'm listening to them but my heart is at South Florida."
"They would have to do something very hard because I have build such a good relationship with the wide receivers coach, Coach C (Canales), coach Leavitt and the whole rest of the coaching staff. By my playing wide receiver I feel it's important to build a strong relationship with Coach Canales."
Bryant's perspective on the next two weekends is more of a chance to confirm what he has already decided.
"I'm just looking and seeing if that place is right for me, which I'm sure it is," he said. "I'm just trying to see the big difference that South Florida has with other colleges."
It looks as though the Golden Eagles and the Scarlet Knights have their work cut out for them to impress the North Florida talent. Bryant's official visit to USF couldn't have gone much better. The visit still reverberates in the Bryant household.
"The environment everything was great," he said about his time in Tampa. "Everybody is so close. Even my host, Carlton Mitchell, he was like a family member. Everything there was so smooth and organized. I just felt like I was in heaven. I had a good time with Coach Leavitt. Me and my parents were still talking about it this morning. We just wish we could go back down to South Florida. It was great."
It's hard to beat heaven, but Southern Miss and Rutgers look like they will each get their shot.
