New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton five-star receiver Tyron Johnson already has one official visit scheduled, but with summer coming to a close there are a couple of more schools the Johnson family knows will receive visits.

"I know we're taking three for sure," Johnson's father Tyrone Johnson said. "We're going to Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and we're going to Georgia. I know that for sure. We might slide two more in. We have a date for the Texas Tech one and that's Sept. 13. That's the only date we have set right now."
Texas Tech may be the only official visit actually scheduled, but another official visit date also appears close to being scheduled.
"Really for Oklahoma State I think we're going to try to make the Texas game (Nov. 15), and I think that's the last game," Tyrone Johnson said.
As for the Georgia visit, the Johnson's continue to look at their schedule to see which dates fit best.
"Georgia is up in the air because when Tyron takes his visits we're going to have to do them during the season," Tyrone Johnson said. "We're waiting on one grade for Tyron to come back and if this grade is ok for English in summer school Tyron is going to enroll in January. So he's not going to have much time to take official visits. So we're going to have to get on the ball real quick. "
Of course the LSU Tigers are also high on Johnson's list, with the standout receiver recently making his way to Baton Rouge with his father for camp.
"I mean we've been to LSU plenty of times," Tyrone Johnson said. "I've built a good relationship with coach Miles and coach Frank. And that's everybody from New Orleans. Tyron has been playing youth football so I know all the kids who play football. Tyron had a good time because it's like a homecoming for him because if he didn't play with them he played against them since he was seven years old. So it was a nice camp and it was a nice experience. I really enjoyed the camp and he enjoyed it too."
Tyrone Johnson also mentioned Florida State alongside Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Georgia, and LSU as one of the main schools of interest. However, he was also quick to mention Tyron has not narrowed his list.
In the past Arizona has been talked about as a school on target to receive an official visit, and they are still in the mix. It is not a certainty right now, but if he does it will likely be for the USC game with teammate and Arizona commit Kendal Franklin.
Johnson does not have any plans to take any more unofficial visits before the season, but there are a few plans once the season begins.
"Oh yeah, most definitely we're going to go to a lot of games for sure. Nothing set in stone. I think he's scratched a couple off that he wants to go see, but I don't really know which ones."
Texas A&M has also been a team mentioned in connection with Johnson lately, and Tyrone Johnson did not count out another possible visit to College Station.
"He likes Texas A&M," Tyrone Johnson said. "Texas A&M jumped on him early. He's going to take a good look at Texas A&M. if we can get another visit up there we're going to try and get another visit to A&M too."
As for his college decision, it is still up in the air. If he graduates in December he plans to announce his decision at the Under Armour All-American game. If he does not graduate early, he could wait until Signing Day to announce.
Johnson caught 87 passes for 1,433 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior in 2013. He is currently ranked No. 6 in the Rivals100, No. 1 among the nation's wide receivers, and No. 1 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 50.
