Visits limited for Bodkin

Marianna (Fla.) three-star offensive tackle Ander Bodkin has been limited in his ability to get out on the road for visits. In mid-June, he checked out Florida State. He has been on the road only once since, most recently visiting South Florida to check out the Bulls.
The 6-foot-5, 276-pound offensive line prospect talked about his visit to South Florida in late June.

"It was great to meet the coaches," Bodkin said. "I worked with Coach (Steve) Shankweiler and he is a really good coach. I got to meet with Skip Holtz and talk to him for a while. It was pretty much a chance to meet all of the coaches and see all of the facilities."
Bodkin got a good deal of attention from the coaching staff at South Florida during his visit.
"I already had an offer from USF when I went down there but they told me they really want me to be a Bull," Bodkin said. "They said that great things are going to be happening at South Florida. They just said they really want me in green and gold. They talked about how South Florida is rising and that I can be one of those players that makes a great impact on that."
The Sunshine State lineman is hoping to check out Kentucky in late July. The Wildcats, who have offered Bodkin, are a school he is very interested in learning more about.
"I am trying to schedule a trip to Kentucky for the end of the month," Bodkin said. "I have been dealing with Coach (Mike) Summers. When I go up to Kentucky I want to learn how they run their offense and how they do things up there. I also want to see how the players are and how they react to the coaches. I want to see what they have to offer education-wise.
"I also want to get to spend more time with Coach Summers," Bodkin added. "Even though I have been talking to him a lot, I want to talk to him in-person and spend some more time with him. I also want to get to meet the head coach and the coaching staff."
In addition to his offers from Kentucky and South Florida, Bodkin also reports offers from Florida Atlantic, Florida International, and Jacksonville. He believes more are going to come his way.
"I am still waiting on FSU. I camped with them last month before I went to USF," Bodkin said. "I am still talking to a couple of other schools to see where they are at with me recruiting-wise."
Other schools in the picture according to Bodkin include Auburn, Georgia, and South Carolina, among others.
Bodkin says he isn't working with a specific timeline for making a decision.
