Visits for Browning before decision

Jake Browning plans to make his commitment in a few short weeks.
But before the Folsom, Calif., four-star quarterback who has put up zany numbers in his high school career picks a college, Browning plans to visit a few more first.

The four-star who threw for 5,737 yards with 75 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in his junior season plans to visit three programs in the coming weeks and his announcement date is still planned for next month.
A decision is highly anticipated.
"So far, I'm just going to Washington State, Colorado and Oklahoma State," Browning said. "That's pretty much it as of right now.
"I like the idea of playing college football but I like playing more than the recruiting thing, the business part. I like the playing part better."
The Folsom standout was recently offered by Alabama but it doesn't sound like he's going to visit Tuscaloosa before his decision.
Browning recently returned from a trip to Cal that went well. He's not giving away too much in terms of finalists or favorites but the Golden Bears certainly have a shot especially after his visit there.
"It was really good," Browning said. "It was good to go up there. I got to go up there with my coach who went there and my other coach who went up there to learn the offense and exchange some ideas.
"I got to hang out with the coaches a little bit and I like the coaches. It was a pretty easy drive from home which was cool. I liked the facilities and all that so it was a good trip."
Washington is considered a serious contender and Browning also has Boise State, San Jose State and Utah on his offer list along with the other programs mentioned above.
