Kmetz confirmed he is fully healed from the injury.
"I'm recovered fully not, it took about four weeks."
Currently the lineman claims two scholarships from Kent State and Pittsburgh.
"It's still those two," he said. "They'd like me to attend camps. I was going to Pittsburgh before I broke my hand. I wasn't able to make it. I'm willing to visit again. I'm trying to work out travel for Kent too."
A few other schools are keeping tabs on Kmetz.
"Rutgers and Virginia want me to come to their camps," he said. "I missed Rutgers, it just didn't work out with my schedule. I need to find out when Virginia's camp is so I'll be able to attend."
According to Kmetz some schools are eyeing him for tight end including Rutgers, does he care about his position?
"As long as I get a scholarship to play football in college, I'll play anywhere."
The big question remains, does anyone stand out?
"So far, I really like Pittsburgh cause of their interest in me," he said. "They are really the only college I've been able to look at. Hopefully I'll be able to go back up in the month of July or August."
