On Monday, three-star wide receiver Jalen Nailor had an in-home visit with Michigan State.

It went well. And the Spartans have definitely emerged as a serious contender in his recruitment.

The Las Vegas Bishop Gorman standout heard really positive things from Michigan State position coach Terrence Samuel and a visit to East Lansing could happen soon.

Gorman teammate Jacob Isaia is already committed to the Spartans.

“The visit went well as I hoped it would,” Nailor said.

“Coach Samuel likes how I play well in space and also my playmaking ability in the return game.”

The former Arizona State commit who backed off that pledge in recent weeks was expected to have an in-home visit with Utah on Tuesday night.

Both Michigan State and the Utes could receive official visits next month but Nailor has not finalized any of his plans yet.

“Nothing yet,” Nailor said. “I probably won’t take any until January.”

In his senior season, the three-star receiver finished with 36 catches for 727 yards and 11 touchdowns.
