Visits are coming for DB Bridges

A busy schedule is ahead for Matthews (N.C.) Butler safety Mark Bridges. The 5-foot-11, 186-pounder has a busy two weeks ahead with trips across the southeast and mid-Atlantic.
"I've got a whole lot planned," he said. "On Friday I'm leaving school so I can go down to Auburn for spring practice on Saturday. Then next week on Friday I'm going to Georgia Tech for spring practice. The day after on Saturday I'll be going to Clemson and then on that Monday and Tuesday I'm going to Virginia and NC State. On Wednesday I'll be at North Carolina. All of them are for spring practices."

With lots of visits coming up, what does Bridges want to see?
"I just want to see the fan base," he said. "I know Clemson has a great fan base, so I'm looking at that. I'll also be checking out the academics so that I know there is something after football. Then, the coaches and their experience, I know a lot of different coaches are switching and going here and there. Finally, the most important thing is trying to see when I can actually get on the field and play."
The Carolina prospect maintains still two offers at this time from Central Michigan and East Carolina, but other schools are moving in.
"I've heard a whole lot from Cincinnati and I think they may be close," he said. "I also am hearing a lot from NC State, Virginia and Georgia Tech."
Bridges is starting to contemplate camps as well.
"I'm pretty sure I'm going to go to Virginia Tech's camp and I plan to go to others."
The defensive back claims no favorites however.
"Right now it's kind of hard to say, but I really like the ACC and SEC."
