Jackson scored two touchdowns and pulled down three interceptions on the night and after the game he was all smiles.

"It felt great," Jackson said. "It was a short week. We're used to playing on Friday and we just had to get after it early in a short week of practice so we had to come out here and feel like we had a full week and get after it."
Thursday's contest drew plenty of attention with college coaches dotting the sidelines. Jackson kept his focus on the field, but he did take notice.
"It's great to see but my main goal was coming out here and getting this win," Jackson said. "It was a good chance to see some of the coaches came by the school today and told me they were going to be out here but they wanted me to remain focused for tonight."
While he is keeping his focus on the field, he does have some big weekend plans with a stop in Baton Rouge on the schedule for Saturday.
"I'll be in Baton Rouge for the Mississippi State game this weekend," Jackson said. "It's going to be a good environment to go out there and see the SEC opener."
He is looking forward to seeing a few different things on this trip to LSU.
"I'm just looking for a nice family environment," Jackson said. "I'm looking to see how they compete against another 3-0 school that is a tougher opponent that's not Sam Houston it's Mississippi State another SEC school. I'm just looking for that excitement really."
The trip to Baton Rouge is not Jackson's first SEC trip of the season. He took an early trip to Georgia as well.
"I took one to Georgia/Clemson. It was great," Jackson said. "It was a tough opponent so the guys were very focused. I got to talk to some of the guys before and after the game. I got to talk to coach Richt. And my guy I got to talk to coach Pruitt."
Jackson does not have any other visits scheduled at this point but he is in the process of determining his official visit schedule.
As for favorites, he does not have a list, but he does have a few standout programs.
"I don't really have like an official top group, but I know I have some schools who stick out amongst others like Georgia of course, LSU of course, and USC, Texas Tech, Notre Dame, a lot of schools that stick out…Ole Miss," Jackson said.
In 2013 Jackson rushed 400 yards and 5 touchdowns, and had 400 yards receiving with another six touchdowns in only five games on the offensive side of the ball. He also recorded 42 tackles, two sacks, four interceptions, eight pass break-ups, and a touchdown on defense. He was rarely kicked to, but he did have four kickoff returns for touchdowns.
Jackson is currently ranked No. 190 in the Rivals250, No. 21 among the nation's cornerbacks, and No. 11 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 50.
