It is a huge visit weekend at Alabama and the headliner is Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe five-star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
There will be several prospects spending this winter weekend in Florida checking out the Gators, Seminoles and Hurricanes, including a five-star linebacker in Gainesville.

The first huge weekend for official visitors in January for Alabama has arrived. The headliner this weekend is Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe five-star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. Alabama will also get its shot with Columbus (Ga.) Carver running back Isaiah Crowell among others.

The list of more that two dozen prospects headed to Arkansas this weekend includes several who are currently committed to other programs. The Razorbacks will get some recruiting help from Arkansas commits such as Gilbert (Ariz.) Higley athlete Kelvin Fisher Jr..

Following his three-day stay at Clemson's camp, five-star linebacker Tony Steward exited with Clemson as his leader. Things have since evolved into a two-team war between the Tigers and Florida State, his previous leader. Steward is making his first return to Clemson since that experience to take part in a huge recruiting weekend.

After verbally committing to Arizona State last April, Rashad Wadood did not field calls from other colleges until recently. New scholarship offers from Colorado and Miami have piqued his interest. The three-star cornerback will be among the visitors to Colorado this weekend.

Business is beginning to pick up somewhat in Gainesville as the Gators welcome six visitors to campus on Friday afternoon, included on the list is Richmond (Va.) Hermitage five-star linebacker Curtis Grant.

Wilkinson County (Ga.) jumbo athlete Alvin Dupree has a busy weekend ahead of him. The talented tight end and defender is planning to cram in two visits this weekend as he tries to figure out where he wants to go to college. His big weekend begins in Atlanta on Friday.

One of the surprising names headed to Louisville this weekend for the Cardinals' biggest recruiting visit weekend of the year hails from Gadsden, Ala., and had previously given a verbal commitment to Louisville's biggest rival. Another surprise is his teammate who verballed to another SEC school last March.
