Visit wears Tate out
According to his father, Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington three-star strongside defensive end Michael Tate is back from his official visit to Oklahoma State this weekend. But the big question is whether or not the 6-foot-4, 241-pound all-state pick made a commitment?
“I can tell you that he had a great time,” his father said. “But at this point, he’s still going to take some other visits. He came home from the visit and was really excited, but he was also very tired. He’s in bed for a while and might be out for a little bit.”

Tate was leaning toward Tennessee heading into the visit to Oklahoma State this weekend. He is set to visit Knoxville on January 9. He has offers from UT, Colorado and Oklahoma State.
Tate is ranked as the nation’s No. 39 strongside defensive end and is a three-star selection.
