Virginia Tech still leads for Reynolds

When Virginia Tech made the decision to offer Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford defensive back Mook Reynolds back in November, the Hokies immediately shot to the top of his list.
And even though he's yet to visit, Reynolds said the Hokies are still in very good standing.

"I like them a lot," the 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback said. "They send me a lot of mail, they come by the school, they say they like the way I play defense and I like the way they play defense. The tradition behind their defense is a good one and I think if that's the school that I choose to go to that I can really fit into that program."
Reynolds has yet to see the Virginia Tech campus, but he's making the trip north for the Hokies junior day on Feb. 8.
"I'm really looking forward to it," Reynolds said. "I want to see excitement, the football atmosphere and just have fun. Hopefully it will be a nice play that I can spend the next four years."
While Virginia Tech remains the only school to offer, Tennessee, Auburn, Missouri, North Carolina, N.C. State and Duke are also showing interest.
Reynolds said he plans to listen to what other schools have to offer before getting ready to make any type of decision.
"I don't hope to make a decision until next year," he said. "It might be on signing day or maybe before the season starts so I can enjoy my senior year and enjoy the ride."
