Virginia TE Wheeler starts to get looks
Highland Springs, Va. has quite a few prospects in the 2008 recruiting class. One of those few have heard anything about so far is 6-foot-2, 228-pound tight end Rod Wheeler.
"Not much has been going on for me yet," he said. "I'm getting information from Virginia and North Carolina mostly. At this time, I know we have some team camps scheduled, but I'm not sure where."

Wheeler went on to claim there are no favorites for his services. With that said, what is he looking for in a program?
"I want a nice atmosphere, good coaches I can get along with and a nice environment," he said. "I also want a good education in case I don't make it to the next level. It would be nice to stay on the East Coast too. I don't want to go all the way out West."
Wheeler earned second team all-district as a junior last season.
