Virginia TE to visit lone offer

Before the football season starts, Vienna (Va.) James Madison School tight end Harry Kehs plans to take one more unofficial visit later this week. The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder is expected to visit his lone offer.
"In fact, I'm going out to Air Force on Thursday for an unofficial visit," he said. "I want to sit in on their practices and meet the coaches.

"I haven't been out there and from what the coaches are telling me I'll fall in love with the campus. I'm looking forward to it to see their offensive philosophy."
Kehs confirmed there is no chance he'll commit while on the visit.
"I'm still waiting to see what Penn State and NC State do," he said. "Penn State invited me to a couple of their games this season. I think I'll probably go to the Wisconsin game. NC State on the other hand is just day to day. They told me they have a couple national guys they are waiting on that are ahead of me, once they decide they'll come to me. Both of those schools are waiting on my senior film too."
Previously it was no secret the two-star prospect was favoring Penn State. Is that still the case?
"I'd say it's a lot closer now between Penn State and NC State," he said. "When I went to NC State, I met coach Bridge and he's one of my favorite recruiters. I really liked it there. They have great facilities and Tom O'Brien is going to do some great things to bring them up.
"Of course I like Penn State a lot too. My uncle went there and played, I've been to a lot of games, I love the atmosphere, my mom went there and it's a great education. If both of those schools offered it would be a tough decision."
Meanwhile, the Virginia tight end is preparing for the season too.
"Two-a-days start on August 6th and then our first game is against Oakton on August 31st," he said. "We're coming together as a team and have a great group of seniors. I think I'm doing better too. I'm catching the ball cleanly with my hands and getting good separation from defenders."
