Virginia Speedster Bouncing Back

A super-fast running back prospect from Virginia is coming off an injury in his junior season and trying to show everyone he still has jets.
"I run the 40-yard dash in about 4.3 seconds," said running back Sean Somlar from Arlington (Va.) Washington-Lee. "Last year, I rushed for 827 yards and seven touchdowns in six games. I also got 126 receiving yards.”

Last season Somlar was limited to six games due to various injuries, but he made the most of his speed when he was on the field. He has a short list of favorite schools.
“Right now my four favorites would have to be Virginia, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Clemson,” said Somlar. “Of those schools Virginia leads right now, but they’re all pretty close.”
This summer he spent some time at his current favorite.
“I went to the Virginia summer camp earlier this summer. I’ve also gone to their school unofficially. I like the coaches at Virginia a lot. They all have good personalities, and they seem like regular people you can relate to.”
Right now he has five schools he would like to take his official visits to.
“I’ll probably take my official visits to Notre Dame, Syracuse, Clemson, Virginia, and Marshall.”
Not only does he have a good idea of where he would like to visit, he also has a pretty set idea of when he would like to make his decision.
“I want to be able to make my final decision by December or January. That could change, but I’m hoping it will be then.”
