Virginia safety has solid offers

Hampton is always a producer of some of the top high school talent in Virginia. And the Class of 2002 from Hampton is proud to present safety Jimmy Williams.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Williams is a threat at quarterback but most teams are recruiting him as a safety.

"The season is going great," Williams said. "I've thrown 552 yards and rushed for 470 yards at quarterback, but I'm prouder of my five interceptions."
And he's also proud for the impressive array of schools after him.
He's received scholarship offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech and Syracuse. He's also getting serious attention from Tennessee, Georgia and N.C. State.
"The recruiting stuff is fun," Williams said. "I like trying to go back and forth between all of the schools. I like them all. It's crazy.
"I'm going to have to take my visits and see what happens. The coaches from all of the schools are so cool and neat to talk to. That's the biggest problem I have."
