Virginia RB still waiting for an offer

Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch running back Hykeem Brodie put together a huge year for his school, rushing for 1,480-yards to go along with 18 total touchdowns. Despite the success, the 5-foot11-, 210-pounder is without an offer. He is however receiving plenty of interest.
"I finished up with 1,480-yards, 18 touchdowns and averaged 7.7-yards per carry," he said. "I saw a big improvement this year in my power and speed. I could see a big change in myself from last year."

On the recruiting front, Brodie has numerous schools interested.
"A lot of schools have been by my school talking to my coaches and they are still evaluating me," he said. "Nobody has officially offered yet, I know there are over a dozen colleges interested.
"I'm hearing from Division I, I-AA, Division II and Division III. I know East Carolina is still on me a lot along with Delaware and Ohio."
According to the Hampton Roads prospect, no schools stick out.
"Things are getting busier, but I'm staying patient. It's going to be crazy up until Signing Day."
