Virginia LB sets first visit

Richmond (Va.) Hermitage linebacker Andrew Bowman has his first official visit scheduled and will be taking in many games unofficially. Who leads?
"I don't have a leader, but I do have my first official visit set -- I'm going to Virginia Tech on Dec. 5. I also plan on taking official visits to Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Purdue. I have offers from all of them."

Bowman, a 6-foot-1, 220-pounder, will take in two games at Virginia this season when the Cavaliers take on North Carolina and Virginia Tech. He has former teammates on the Hokies and Cavs, so who is pushing him harder?
"Neither really," he said of UVA wideout Fontel Mines and VTech tight end Duane Brown. "I'm making my own decision."
Bowman has led his team to two shutouts so far this season and has 22 tackles (three for a loss) and one sack. He will take his time making a decision.
"I'm not in a hurry at all," he said. "I want to see all my favorites."
