Virginia continues their recruiting momentum. Today the Cavaliers landed their fourth commitment in five days taking their total class size to 17 players for 2005. Who joined the Cavaliers now?
Salem (N.J.) linebacker Lamont Robinson is the newest verbal commitment for the Cavaliers. Robinson, who becomes the third Rivals100 player to commit to Virginia, joins the hottest recruiting team in the country.

"I have committed to Virginia," said the 6-foot-2, 225-pound, 'backer who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds.
Robinson had offers from over 25 schools, including the likes of Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia, Miami, and Oklahoma. Why did Robinson choose Virginia?
"Virginia is the school that is recruiting me the hardest by far. I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and they have showed me how important I am to them. Virginia offers everything I am looking for."
What was Robinson looking for?
"Virginia offers the total package. They play solid football in the best conference in the nation and they are one of the top schools as far as academics are concerned. The defense that Virginia runs also was enticing. How could a linebacker not want to play in a 3-4 defense."
Last season, Robinson racked up 90 tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions.
